Hi, I am Leo, an Occupational Therapist here at Stretchy Minds Paediatric Occupational Therapy.

I completed my Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours at Monash University, and before joining this fantastic team, I gained a wide range of experience working in paediatric private practice, community healthcare, and both mental and physical rehabilitation. My journey has taken me to different environments, allowing me to work with children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, which has truly enriched my approach to therapy.

Outside of work, you will often find me playing soccer with friends, sharing laughter, or enjoying the great outdoors with my dog, Beanie, and my partner. Whether it is hiking in the mountains or spending time at the park or beach, being out in nature is where I recharge.

Leo Lee

I have had the opportunity to support children with Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Intellectual Disability, sensory processing, and social-emotional difficulties at different private paediatric clinics, both in Melbourne and Hong Kong. These experiences have deepened my understanding and passion for helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

I am passionate about building strong relationships with each child and their family, and I believe that these connections are key to helping children thrive. I am dedicated to creating joyful, meaningful experiences that support a child’s growth. The trust we build together is what empowers children to achieve their goals and milestones, allowing them to shine in their own unique way.

I am always eager to learn and grow in my practice. I have completed the "Traffic Jam In My Brain" course, which focuses on sensory processing, and I am continuously exploring new knowledge, particularly in sensory modulation. I love incorporating principles of regulation, child-led, and play-based therapy into my sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment where every child can explore, create, and grow with confidence.

Continuous professional growth is something I am really committed to. I make it a priority to stay informed on the latest research and techniques, ensuring that I provide the highest quality therapy to the children and families I work with.
